NB This form should be printed and posted to address at top, copy of driving licence and two recent utility bills should also be enclosed. Cheques should be made payable to Chariots. pbv3 back to main page TERMS AND CONDITIONS ELIGIBILITY Drivers must be over 25 and under 70 years of age and have held a driving licence for at least 3 years. Minor endorsements are excepted however, serious offence endorsements will have to be referred to our Insurers for their acceptance. A copy of their full driver's licence plus 2 utility bills are requested by post or fax at the time of booking. Any additional drivers must be notified to the company at the time of booking and copies of their licenses supplied. PAYMENTS The hirer drives on a £750 insurance excess. The hirer is liable to bear the first £750 of each claim for damage and loss to insured vehicle. This excess includes all damage e.g. broken windscreen, puncture, lost utensils, etc. 25% of hire charge is payable as a deposit to secure reservation. Full balance is to be received 6 weeks prior to departure date or immediately if booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to departure date. Cancellations or 'no show' 6 weeks before start of hire loss of deposit 6 - 4 weeks before start of hire 50% of total hire charges + VAT 4 weeks and under loss of total hire fee inc. VAT Should we be able to re-hire the vehicle a 25% administration fee shall be made and the balance of monies returned. DEPOSIT RETURN On return, motorhomes are to be clean internally. This is to include cooker, fridge and bathroom or a surcharge of £45 will apply. Additionally, unemptied toilets will incur a £35 penalty. AVAILABILITY Should the vehicle booked not be available for reasons beyond our control we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of similar category or refund all payments made without further liability. GENERAL Chariots Motorhome Hire reserve the right to decline to hire to any person at any time without giving a reason for their actions. BREAKDOWN In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, please contact the breakdown recovery company. (Details in vehicle) The recovery company will either rectify the fault or recover the vehicle to a local garage. You are requested to notify Chariots Motorhome Hire as soon as possible. Hirers are permitted to request repairs at any garage up to the value of £50 if urgent and unavoidable. Chariots Motorhome Hire is not responsible for hotel or other consequential expenses arising out of or attributed to any breakdown.
